The Maxwell HWC 2200 SCW/SD model is a hydraulic horizontal windlass operating on 24V power. Suitable for 9-11 mm chain diameters, this model is part of the HWC series.

In addition to the horizontal chain hauling function, the HWC series windlasses offer the possibility of a second rope operation with an independent gypsy or assisting in docking and mooring processes. They are available in hydraulic or electric options.

Maxwell HWC series windlasses are supplied as a set including the motor and solenoid. Foot switch, circuit breaker, chain pipe, gypsy (according to the desired chain size), and emergency reversing handle are ordered separately. Optionally, chain stopper, hydraulic motor, control panel, vertical capstan, or Autoanchor products can be supplied upon request.
