Maxwell VWC Series 1500 is a professional vertical windlass, hydraulically driven and operating on 12 volts. It features a drum structure suitable for ropes with diameters of 6-10 mm and is designed for use on boats and yachts ranging from 8 to 20 meters in size.

VWC series windlasses, when used in conjunction with an automatic chain windlass, provide support for rope or mooring operations. It comes as a set including the motor and solenoid. The emergency handle, gypsy, foot switch, and circuit breaker are ordered separately. The chain stopper, double-acting solenoid, control panel, Auto Anchor equipment, additional foot switch, and hydraulic motor are optional equipment.
