The Quick Olympic anchor is an anchor model defined by a weight of 60 Kg, a chain size of 13 mm, a boat length of 20 m, and a boat weight of 43 T. It is detailed with the dimensions A (583 mm), B (983 mm), C (23 mm), D (25 mm), E (797.7 mm), F (688.4 mm), G (405.3 mm), H (340 mm), and I (465.5 mm).

Olympic anchors are developed through product engineering and manufacturing processes carried out by Quick. The shape and size of Olympic anchors are proportionate to allow a greater amount of lead in the front part of the fluke; this weight distribution option allows the center of gravity to protrude more towards the tip in a compact size.

The post-welded sheet metal forming process is the chosen manufacturing method for Olympic anchors. This process allows for weight distribution optimization by permitting a high strength-to-mass ratio. The resulting cavities and trapped air inside create a buoyancy effect, contributing to the correct positioning of the anchor on the seabed. Thanks to its compact shank structure, the Olympic anchor is compatible with most bow rollers available on the market.

Tip
The tip is developed on two circular surfaces designed to facilitate the sliding of the material encountered during the seabed penetration process.

Stabilizing Fins
The stabilizing fins ensure the anchor remains in a perpendicular position to the seabed during the gripping phase.

Reinforcement Plate
The special reinforcement applied between the fluke and the shank increases the joining surface between the two anchor elements while also allowing the anchor to be released by securing the buoy line.

Eye
The specific shape and dimensions of the hole are designed to allow the anchor to be lifted easily and safely. The eye thickness is calculated to withstand high tensile stresses.
