Olympic anchors have been developed through detailed product engineering and manufacturing processes carried out within Quick.
 

The shape and size of Olympic anchors are proportioned to allow a greater amount of lead in the front part of the nose. This weight distribution option allows the center of gravity to protrude more towards the tip (in a compact size), thus increasing penetration capacity.
 

The subsequent sheet metal forming process was the chosen manufacturing method for Olympic anchors. This guarantees weight distribution optimization by allowing a high strength/mass ratio. Furthermore, the resulting voids and trapped air inside create a buoyancy effect, which ensures the anchor is correctly positioned on the seabed. Thanks to its compact shank, the Olympic anchor is compatible with most bow rollers currently on the market.

 

The tip has been developed on two circular surfaces designed to facilitate the sliding of the material encountered during the seabed penetration process.
 

The stabilizing fins ensure the anchor remains in a perpendicular position to the seabed during the gripping phase.
 

The special reinforcement applied between the nose and the body has a dual function: on one hand, it provides greater shank resistance against extraordinary pulls, thereby increasing the joining surface between the two anchoring elements; on the other hand, it allows the buoy line to be secured, enabling the anchor to be released.
 

The special shape and dimensions of the hole allow the anchor to be lifted extremely easily and safely. The eye thickness is calculated to withstand extremely high tensile stresses.
