Olympic anchors are developed through product engineering and manufacturing processes carried out within Quick. The shape and size of Olympic anchors are proportioned to allow a greater amount of lead in the front part of the fluke; this weight distribution option enables the center of gravity to protrude more towards the tip in a compact size.

The sheet metal forming process with subsequent welding is the chosen manufacturing method for Olympic anchors. This process allows for weight distribution optimization by permitting a high strength-to-mass ratio. The resulting cavities and the air trapped inside create a buoyancy effect, contributing to the correct positioning of the anchor on the seabed. The compact shank structure allows the Olympic anchor to be compatible with many bow rollers available on the market.

Tip
