The triple-biocide formula of ColorKote is designed to protect the boat hull against mussels, algae, and other marine organisms. Econea, zinc omadine, and copper thiocyanate work together to target long-term performance.
Originally formulated for aluminum boats, this antifouling paint was developed for applications where copper oxide biocides can cause galvanic corrosion. The product is compatible with different hull types, including fiberglass, steel, and aluminum, and can be used in fresh, brackish, and salt water. It holds Lloyd's Register approval.
