Vetus Air Vent. With Valve. is a valved and automatic anti-siphon component used in the cooling water line of marine engines.
Product Description
If the height of the cooling water line's discharge point above the waterline is less than 15 cm, there is a risk of cooling water siphoning back into the engine when the engine stops. This siphoning can be prevented by installing a Vetus airvent anti-siphon on the cooling water line, approximately 40 cm above the waterline.
